217. Norwegian Wood (LB1/100)

(The Beatles)

{Rtm: 3/4}

[E] I [E4]once had a [E]girl, [E4]or should I [E]say, [D]she once had [E]me._[]
[E] She [E4]showed me her [E]room, [E4]isn't it [E]good, [D]Norwegian [E]wood?_[]

She [e]asked me to []stay and she []told me to []sit an-y- [A]where,_{,,,}
[e] I looked a- []round and I []noticed there []wasn't a [A]chair._{A,~ H7,...}

I sat on a rug, biding my time, drinking her wine.
We talked until two and then she said, "It's time for bed".
She told me she worked in the morning and started to laugh,
I told her I didn't and crawled off to sleep in the bath.
{A,~ H7,...}

And when I awoke I was alone, this bird had flown.
So I lit a fire, isn't it good, Norwegian wood.
